The International School on Intelligent Signal Processing for Frontier Research & Industry 2013 "Intelligent Front-End Signal Processingfor Frontier Exploitation in Research and Industry” precedes the second thematic workshop organised in the context of the FP7 funded INFIERI ITN (FP7-PEOPLE-2012-ITN, ITN-GA-317446-INFIERI).
This is the first of a new series of annual summer schools covering the complete signal processing chain found in 21st century instrumentation.
The series of schools we are launching here will focus on the most advanced technologies in the fields of semiconductors, very deep sub-micron and 3D technologies, nanotechnology, advanced packaging & interconnects, telecommunications, real-time signal processing and filtering and massive parallel computing that are the essential items to build the next generation of full processing chain needed by Frontier research and Industry.
The agenda of this school describes the proposed journey in the world of the Front-End Intelligent Devices for Frontier Research and Industry during 7 days.
The summer school will be held in St Anne’s College and at the Astrophysics & Particle Physics labs in the Denys Wilkinson Building of the Department of Physics, just north of Oxford city centre.
